Hoot Owl Brooch

Hoot Owls, or Great Horned Owls, are one of the most comon owl species in North and South America. They are known for their distinctive hooting call, which can be heard up to a mile away.  These birds of preyhave large eyes and ear tufts that are used for communicatin and to express emotions. They are also excellent hunters, with powerful talons and keep senses that allow them to capture prey as large as rabbits and skunks.
