Scarce Swallowtail Brooch

The Scarce Swallowtail is an elegant buterfly with pale yellow wings, bold black stripes, and striking tail-like extensions.  It flits gracefully through sunny gardens and woodlands, feeding on nectar while its caterpillars cleverly mimic bird droppings for camouflauge.
