Tufted Coquette Brooch

The Tufted Coquette is a pint-sized wonder of the Caribbean, barely 6cm long. Males flaunt a flashy crown tuft and shimmer in gren and purple huges during courtshipo.  They're skilled hoverers, even flying backward - a humingbird rarity!  These elusive birds hide in dense foliage, sipping nectar and occasionaly snacking on tiny insecs for extra protein.
